英文概述 English  Description	This course focuses on a comprehensive introduction to all aspects of English pronunciation — sounds (vowels and consonants), stress, rhythm, and basic intonations. Through various interesting activities and lively exercises, the effective training is provided to achieve the forllowing objectives: (1) to help undergraduates recognize and pronounce individual sounds of English; (2) to make students aware of the pronunciation points and to develop oral skills and proficiency with the particular point and (3) to help students build necessary background information on articulatory phonetics in English.
