中文概述 Chinese Description	本課程授課內容依兩大軸線進行：(一)從新聞產業發展的角度來擬訂內容主題，以新聞議題做為核心，打破傳統新聞史以時間序列，做為討論的方式；(二)借重歷史新聞材料的觀察和批判，進而思考對當代新聞發展的反省以及和社會變遷之關係。 課程依時間的進行區分為兩個階段：(一)期中考前由授課老師帶領學生閱讀和討論依「新聞產業」為軸線所劃分之授課內容；(二)期中考後依老師所設定之議題請學生進行分組討論和報告。 本課程的設計內容，預期學生能獲致如下的學習成效：(一)對近、現代新聞事業的發展和社會變遷之關係能有一初步的認識；(二)構成新聞事業各項要素及其相互交織的歷史發展；(三)透過分組報告接觸新聞史料進行「歷史」和「當代」新聞媒體呈現樣態的對話和反思。
英文概述 English  Description	This curriculum teaches the content to carry on according to two major axes: (1) drafts the content subject from the news industry development angle, does take the news subject as the core, the break tradition news history by the time series, does for the discussion way; (2) relies on for help the historical news material the observation and the critique, then ponder to contemporary news development introspection as well as with social vicissitude relations.
